🍫 30 Minute Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 sticks margarine
• 3 tbsp cocoa
• 1 cup water
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp vanilla

Ingredients

1. Mix sugar and flour.
2. In a saucepan, put water, cocoa, and margarine; bring to a boil.
3. Remove from heat and pour over flour and sugar.
4. Mix well.
5. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla.
6. Pour into greased 9" x 13" pan.
7. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F.

Topping

Ingredients

• 1 stick margarine
• 6 tbsp milk
• 3 tbsp cocoa
• 1 box confectioners’ sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Ingredients

1. While cake is baking, combine margarine, milk, and cocoa in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
2. Remove from heat and add sugar and vanilla.
3. Stir in nuts.
4. Stir quickly and well (do not use electric mixer).
5. Pour over cake while cake is still hot.
